'Twas the summer before Christmas...
and all through the town, lots of people need help
but donations were down!!
Yet the outpouring of love to countless in need
was so generous that some folks thought Santa came
early indeed!
Gifts of food, shelter and care gave so many a good
night's sleep,
that there were sweet dreams of joy
all through the town and especially at Fifth Street!
